He revealed that he was actually parting ways with something entirely different—his face masks, which he had been consistently wearing for the past few months. In his post, he bid farewell to his masks and expressed gratitude for keeping him protected over the last two years, humorously referring to it as moving on to the next phase of his journey.

Raj’s recent social media posts came shortly after he unveiled the trailer for his debut film, “UT69,” where he plays the lead role. The film’s storyline centers around his personal experiences during his time in jail.
It’s worth noting that Raj Kundra was arrested and incarcerated at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail in July 2021 in connection with an alleged pornography-related case, which created significant controversy at the time. After spending approximately two months behind bars, he was granted bail by a metropolitan magistrate and released in September of the same year. The charges against him included sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Information Technology Act, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention) Act.

Throughout the legal proceedings, Raj consistently maintained that he was framed in the case. His upcoming film, “UT69,” is expected to provide his perspective on the matter and is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 3.
Raj Kundra recently shared how he discussed the idea of the film with his wife, Shilpa Shetty, in an interview with News18. He recounted, “I told her that I have a script and was waiting for her response. When I turned away from her, a flying slipper came at my face. I think she initially had reservations about the idea, perhaps doubting that the film would ever come to fruition.” However, he also noted that Shilpa was ultimately very supportive and even inquired if he could act. He humorously replied that he had some “method acting” experience from his time in jail.
